Stories of the Holy Family and the miracles of Jesus at these sites carried on throughout the generations, inspiring the construction of churches and monasteries. Today, pilgrims travel along the route to walk in the footsteps of the Holy Family.
In this trip, you will have the chance to witness the remains of these blessed sites while visiting all the famous ancient Egyptian treasures.
Starting from Cairo & Giza to visit the great pyramids & the sphinx followed by Wadi Natroun a desert area said to have been blessed by the Christ.
Then visit Cairo churches, starting by St. Mary el-zaytoun, the Holy well and Holy Marry tree at Matareya on the outskirts of Cairo.
Afterwards, you will fly to Aswan and check into a luxurious Nile Cruise and visit the ancient Egyptian temples such as Philae Temple, Kom ombo temple and Edfu temple.
Also you will get to sail Luxor to visit Luxor temple and the memorial of Anba Wannas & church of Anba Macarios, the valley of the kings & queen Hatshepsut temple then travel to Asyut and visit monastery Of al Muharraq which is known as monastery of the holy virgin, gabl Eltier, maadi church then proceed to the Cathedral to visit POP Tawdrous if it’s possible.

You’re in Egypt! As the Egyptians say, ahlan wa sahlan. Step off the plane, take a short walk, and you will see your tour manager holding up a signboard with your name written on it. From now onwards you will be in the careful hands of our company. Your tour manager will direct you through customs and immigrations then assist you with your luggage, after collecting your baggage transfer to your hotel and check in. After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Great Pyramid, the royal burial chamber and the Sphinx and then transfer to the Egyptian Museum and visit the treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen. We’re going to be travelling from Cairo to Alexandria, it’s a truly beautiful city. Have a stop to visit Wadi Natroun a desert area said to have been blessed by the Christ. The Holy Family crossed the western branch of the river Nile (Rosetta branch) to the south to Wadi EL-Natroun, according to tradition the Virgin Mary and her son the child Jesus Christ, hid in that valley during their trip to Egypt, and Jesus Christ blessed the four directions of the valley. Wadi EL- Natroun is considered one of the most famous valleys in Egypt. It is considered the home of asceticism and worship, with four monasteries still existing today. Begin your trip with Deir El Baramouse which is the oldest of the surviving 4 monasteries, and in many ways the most isolated, then proceeds to Deir Anba Bishoy whose body is still in the monastery. Then you will end your trip with Deir El-Suryan which is the smallest and most compact of the 3 monasteries. Visit also Mar mina Monastery. Transfer back to Cairo. After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to visit Cairo churches, start by St. Mary el-zaytoun, the Holy well and Holy Marry tree at Matareya on the outskirts of Cairo, a resting place of the Holy Family and a popular destination among medieval pilgrims, continue to the Hanging Church and St. Sergio's, then continue to see the Church of St. George as well as the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo, which the Holy Family passed by. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to Cairo airport for flight to Aswan. After breakfast, transfer to Minya and visit gabl Eltier where the holy family moved to on a ferry through river Nile from Cairo, visit the beautiful church beside the Nile river at gabal el teir then visit Shodaa Libya church and continue to Cairo, check in to your hotel. Early morning, Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to the West Bank to enjoy Egypt's Hot Air Balloon. Transfer to the marine, enjoy soft drinks before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum in Luxor. The "Balloon Ride" trip departs everyday, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
The best way to spend the afternoon in Aswan city is to sail on the Nile by a motor boat to the Nubian Village to enjoy the scenery on the Nile and get a closer look at Nubian Village life. This trip allows you to meet and impact with a Nubian family and to learn about their simple lifestyle, culture and traditions. Nubia is the area between Aswan in Egypt and Khartoum in Sudan.
