You’re in Egypt! As the Egyptians say, ahlan wa sahlan. Step off your plane, take a short walk, and you will see your tour manager holding up a signboard with your name written on it. From now onwards you will be in the careful hands of our company. Your tour manager will direct you through customs and immigrations then assist you with your luggage, then collect your baggage and transfer to your hotel. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Have a great night’s rest and the adventure begins when you wake up. Overnight: Cairo | No Meals included.

Day 2 Friday: Giza Pyramids - Sphinx - Memphis - Sakkara

After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Pyramids. See the Great Pyramid, the royal burial chamber and the Sphinx. Continue to Memphis, capital of the pharaohs during the Old Kingdom. Visit the recumbent statue of Ramses II and the 80-ton alabaster sphinx and then a Camel ride in around Pyramids. Lunch en route at a local restaurant then continue to Sakkara to see the prototype of the Pyramids, the Step Pyramid, built for the 3rd Dynasty pharaoh Djoser by the exalted architect Imhotep. Visit a Papyrus and Carpets Institute on your way back to the hotel. Overnight: Cairo | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch. Optional: Dinner cruise with Belly dancing show.

After breakfast, transfer to Alexandria. Start your tour to Alexandria with a visit to El Montazah gardens, where you will have the opportunity to see from outside only, El Montazah palace originally built in 1892 and used to be the summer home for the Egyptian Royal family. Then continue to the Catacomb (Kom El Shuqqafa), a remarkable example of the Alexandrian blend of Greco-Roman and Egyptian styles carved into 100ft of solid rock. Then visit the Fort and Citadel of Qaitbay, Built-in the 15th century by sultan Ashraf Qaitbay, according to a legend, the fort was built with stones from the ancient Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and now houses a naval museum. Next stop will be a visit to the newly opened Library of Alexandria. Apart from the main library, the complex will include a library for the blind, a young people's library, the Alexandria Conference Center, a science museum, a planetarium, a Restoration and Conservation Laboratory, and the Hall of Fame. Lunch en route at a local restaurant, and then transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Alexandria | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch.

Day 4 Sunday: Alamein - Cairo

After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit El Alamein Museum & Commonwealth tombs (90 minutes’ drive from Alexandria). Then return to Cairo. Overnight: Cairo | Meals included: Breakfast

After breakfast, depart Cairo by air to Luxor for embarkation on your Nile Cruise. In the afternoon you will visit the great Luxor Temple and the magnificent Karnak Temple of Amun with its famous Hypostyle Hall and the 134 huge columns, the Statue of Ramses II, the Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the Sacred Lake. After breakfast you will visit the West Bank (Thebes) where some of the richest treasures in the world exists, including the Tomb of Tut Ankh Amun (optional) and other royal tombs including Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings (3 tombs), you will be able to visit some of these tombs. Visit Hatshepsut funerary temple at Dier El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit the Gold Institute on your way back to the cruise for lunch. In the afternoon you will sail through the locks of Esna to Edfu. Overnight: Onboard Cruise | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner. Optional: Hot Air Balloon trip.

After breakfast you will visit the Horus Temple of Edfu, one of the three beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic Period. Sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Sobek Temple, dedicated to two gods, which offers beautiful murals and beliefs. Sail to Aswan and Overnight. Breakfast and a free day of leisure. In the afternoon, you will sail on an Egyptian felucca around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum and visit the Nubian village where you will go to the bottom of Elephantine Island to get to know the way of life of the Nubian people. Interact with locals and listen to engaging commentary from your guide about the daily lives of people in these villages, then transfer to your cruise. Overnight: Onboard Cruise | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner.

Day 9 Friday: Aswan - High Dam - Philae Temple - Cairo

After breakfast, disembark from the ship and visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Philae Temple on the island of Agilka. The temple was dedicated to Isis, sister/wife of Osiris and patroness of the Ptolemaic rule. Then you will be transferred to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo, upon arrival you will be met by your representative and transferred to your hotel. Day 10 Saturday: Cairo - The Egyptian Museum - Citadel of Salah El-Din - Moallaqa church - Ben Ezra Synagogue

After breakfast, visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses a magnificent collection of Pharaonic antiquities, especially the golden treasures of Tut Ankh Amun. Continue to visit the citadel of Salah El-Din, and Mohammed Ali Mosque situated high above the city. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the Church of Abu Serga, Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Your tour will be concluded by a visit to the Perfume Institute on your way back to the hotel. Overnight: Cairo | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch.

It will give you an idea of the history and legends of the Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza. Sounds And Lights also depict the famous theory that explains how and why pyramids were built and tells the story of the great and famous pharaohs and queens of Ancient Egypt, such as Thutmosis IV, Akhen-Aton, Queen Nefertiti, and the child king Tut-ankh-Amon.

Sounds and Lights (S & L) at Karnak Temples

Spend an evening at the Karnak Temples, watching the popular Karnak Sound and Light Show. With light illusions and the sound of a pharaoh’s voice to narrate the history of Upper Egypt, the show is sure to captivate you as the night sky darkens. Float around the best of Cairo night sights in a Nile cruise and enjoy a buffet dinner while watching a full show including Belly dancing and Whirling dervish. Don’t forget to go up to the sun deck and enjoy the night breath while sailing.

Abu Simbel by Bus

Simbel Temples was carved in the mountains and dates back to the reign of King Ramses II in the 13th century BC. The temple resembles a memorial of King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari and it commemorates the king's victory in the battle of Kadesh. site consists of two temples; the largest is dedicated to three deities of Egypt at that time, Re-Hor-achti, Ptah, and Amun. Four large statues of Ramses II are featured on the façade, and the smaller temple is dedicated to the Godess Hathor.

Hot Air Balloon

Early morning, Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to the West Bank to enjoy Egypt's Hot Air Balloon. Transfer to the marine, enjoy soft drinks before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum in Luxor. The "Balloon Ride" trip departs everyday, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
