You’ll begin your trip in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, where the great pyramids have stood for millennia. Continuing on, you will get to discover the ancient remains of both Coptic & Islamic Egypt then you’ll pass through the most famous cities of Upper Egypt, home to huge temples and monuments while cruising the Nile on a Luxurious Dahabiya.
Dahabiyas take their name from the Arabic word for gold “Dahab” referring to the earliest form of this boat which was golden colored. The Dahabiya was the mode of transport on the Nile, long before the modern-day cruise ships.
You can relax and imagine yourself as one of the aristocrats or elite travelers during the days of the monarchy as this is how they used to negotiate the river. Elegance and style, that is what they were built for.

You’re in Egypt! As the Egyptians say, ahlan wa sahlan. Step off the plane, take a short walk, and you will see your tour manager holding up a signboard with your name written on it. From now onwards you will be in the careful hands of our company. Your tour manager will direct you through customs and immigrations then assist you with your luggage, after collecting your baggage transfer to your hotel. At the hotel, the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Have a great night rest, and the adventure begins when you wake up.
After breakfast, your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick you up and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Pyramids, See the Great Pyramid, the royal burial chamber and the Sphinx. Continue to Memphis, capital of the pharaohs during the Old Kingdom. Visit the recumbent statue of Ramses II and the 80-ton alabaster sphinx. Then a camel ride around the Pyramids. Lunch en route at a local restaurant, Continue to Sakkara to see the prototype of the Pyramids, the Step Pyramid, built for the 3rd Dynasty Pharaoh Djoser by the exalted architect “Imhotep”. Visit the Papyrus and Carpet Institute on your way back to the hotel. Overnight: Cairo | Meals included. Breakfast &Lunch. Optional: Sound and Light at the Pyramids.
After breakfast, visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses a magnificent collection of Pharaonic antiquities, especially the golden treasures of Tut Ankh Amun. In the afternoon, you will proceed to Old Cairo to visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, and the Mohammed Ali Mosque situated high above the city. Continue to visit the Church of Abu Serga, Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Visit the Perfume Institute on your way back to the hotel. Overnight: Cairo | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch. Optional: Dinner cruise with Belly dancing show.
After breakfast, depart Cairo by air to Luxor. Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up for embarkation on your Nile Cruise. Lunch on board. Visit the great Luxor Temple and the magnificent Karnak Temple of Amun with its famous Hypostyle Hall and the 134 huge columns, the Statue of Ramses II, the Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the Sacred Lake. Overnight: Onboard Nile Cruise | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner. Optional: Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples.
After breakfast, sail to Luxor. Visit the West Bank (Thebes) where some of the richest treasures in the world exists, including the Tomb of Tut Ankh Amun (optional add on) and other royal tombs including Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings (3 Tombs), you will be able to visit some of these tombs. Then visit Hatshepsut funerary temple at Dier El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight: Onboard Nile Cruise | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner. Optional: Hot air balloon.
After breakfast, you will visit the Horus Temple of Edfu, one of the three beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic Period. Sail to Al Ramady Island. (Private Island dinner along with an exclusive Egyptian Rababa show) Overnight: Onboard Nile Cruise | Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch & Dinner.
Sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Sobek Temple, dedicated to the two gods, which offers beautiful murals and reliefs. Sail to el Sheikh Fadl Island and Lunch on board during sailing. After breakfast, you will visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Philae Temple on the island of Agilka. In the afternoon, you will sail on an Egyptian felucca around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Simbel Temples was carved in the mountains and dates back to the reign of King Ramses II in the 13th century BC. The temple resembles a memorial of King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari and it commemorates the king's victory in the battle of Kadesh. site consists of two temples; the largest is dedicated to three deities of Egypt at that time, Re-Hor-achti, Ptah, and Amun. Four large statues of Ramses II are featured on the façade, and the smaller temple is dedicated to the Godess Hathor.
Early morning, Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to the West Bank to enjoy Egypt's Hot Air Balloon. Transfer to the marine, enjoy soft drinks before you take the motor boat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum in Luxor. The "Balloon Ride" trip departs everyday, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
The best way to spend the afternoon in Aswan city is to sail on the Nile by a motor boat to the Nubian Village to enjoy the scenery on the Nile and get a closer look at Nubian Village life. This trip allows you to meet and impact with a Nubian family and to learn about their simple lifestyle, culture and traditions. Nubia is the area between Aswan in Egypt and Khartoum in Sudan.
